Progressive values are on display daily, yet the liberal media selects to snooze past most of this radical hate speech. A great comparison is on display today. The "Media" is buzzing about Ann Coulter's colorful description of Edwards along with a satirical comment about liberal values when she said that she could describe Edwards but is afraid of being sent to rehab for saying "Fagot." We all know that the "F" word is considered much worse by the loony left, than even the "N" word. Both letters are owned by the radical-left political correctness squad. So Coulter, more a comedian in the line of Bill Maher, John Kerry, and others, than a political figure is the top of the news. Even Hillarybob and Barrack Osama and the alphabet media are screeching.
It gets better. A liberal blog writes in the same week that it's a disappointment that Vice President Chaney survived a bombing in Pakistan on a visit. So not to be outdone, Maher discusses this opinion with the House's self-labeling "F" man, Rep. Barney Frank. While Frank showed some sensitivity, Maher grabs the baton by saying that: "It's a fact that if Chaney were (dead) no long in power, lives would be saved." Maher is unapologetic about his Jihad death sentence for Chaney. That's OK some say because after all he is a comedian.
So a reasonable person might ask why Maher's belief is not hate speech? He is telling his audience that he feels that a dead vice president is better than a live one. Ann Coulter on the other hand is making fun of Edwards by referencing his "pretty boy" looks and often effeminate behavior. She doesn't attack his fake populist positions. Edwards in an easy poster-boy for owner-oppressor because he paid his workers in his law firm $20 bucks an hour or so while he pocketed as much as $10,000 an hour for himself. That's 500 times the pay of his workers.
Yet, the progressive-value-media finds Coulter in violation of hate speech while disregarding Maher. A reasonable person would say they are protecting Edwards, one of their own, while they hate Coulter, the enemy. It's no wonder that these same values are the foundation for the left's often confused despot and tyrant hugging. These values say that Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's despot socialist and North Korea's mass murder Kim Jung Ill are being bullied by President Bush who they say is the problem. As long as values and morals and ethics are defined politically, the radical left will continue to embrace international criminals in their effort to punish their political enemies. These psychos need more meds before they can rise to adult policy making.

The difference between Maher and Coulter, is that Maher's job is to introduce controversy into a panel discussion to instigate thoughtful conversation. Coulter was speaking directly to an audience of conservatives alongside the following:
Vice President Dick Cheney - Sean Hannity - Senator Mitch McConnell - Tom Delay - Michelle Malkin - David Horowitz - Congressman Mike Pence - Newt Gingrich - Phyllis Schlafly - Wayne LaPierre.
Coulter's words, in the CPAC '07 setting, carry much more weight than those of a comedian hosting a panel discussion show on cable TV.
To Yedna: Seems that left of center folks can define and select when something is offense to them, but it's not reasonable for others to disagree. As a German born and raised immigrant I see the same oppressive elements in progressives today that are said to have driven Fascist progressives 70 years ago.
What's that about history repeating itself?
