Seattle PI and the Vast Left Wing Media!

Give a bully an opening and they don't disappoint. A bully will always abuse their power to twist and distort and to punish those they feel are not worthy of their respect. The Seattle PI, the LA Times, and of course the NY Times continue to polish their oppression to perfection. The Libby verdict is a good example. Vice President Chaney's chief of staff is found guilty of telling a lie when he said that he didn't spread the name of a Bush critic's wife. Prosecutor Fitzgerald tells all that this lie obstructed justice and disrespected the system. Maybe or maybe not. But that's Libby's problem.

The truth is that a guy's wife got him sent to Niger and when he lied about what he found, the administration rightly pointed to his wife to answer why on earth a Bush hater had been sent on a sensitive mission.

The Seattle PI among many other media bullies use the straw man theory of oppression not by answering the president but by answering their own feelings. The bullies accuse that there's no proof that Iraq bought uranium in Niger. But then the president didn't say they did. He said and the British agree that Iraq sought uranium in Africa. And guess what? Wilson, the liar according to the Washington Post, agrees.

Bottom line again is an abuse of the media's constitutional protections and privileges. Without the protections, we the people could take the PI and other bullies to court by proving they lie and misrepresent facts. Not just about their hate for President Bush. But also in defense of other government abuses and failures. Education? Lies, lies lies. Economy? Lies, lies, lies. Environment? Lies, lies, lies. Time has come to make the media accountable.

Media on Trial Today!

Today's Libbey jury verdict tells us little about facts and much more about political wars. It's my assertion that those left of center use the system to punish their enemies. Seems to me that they criminalize politics to send a clear message that resistance is futile. History is full of progressive regimes that used the system to criminally punish their political foes. The best are the Soviets, the Fascists, other communist and socialist despots and tyrants, and the Democrats.

As the media now spins the Libbey conviction we may want to return to the cause of all this hysteria. President Bush said in his State of the Union Address that Iraq had sought to buy uranium in Africa. After the start of the Iraq invasion, a guy named Wilson began to provide details of what he called his fact finding mission to Niger on behalf of the CIA and the Vice President. This culminated with a Wilson written NY Times OPED piece firmly stating that he was sent to Niger and reported back to the CIA who then told the Vice President that he found no evidence that the Iraqis attempted to buy uranium.

Facts uncovered by the House Intelligence Committee and a statement by the CIA say that Wilson did report that Iraq "businessmen" attempted to establish a buying relationship. But found no evidence that a purchase was made. Further facts uncovered say that Wilson got the trip by suggestion of his wife who was now on the outs with the CIA. Facts tell us that she was a central part of the "asleep at the switch" during proliferation of nuclear technology to Libya, North Korea, and Iran. Our CIA knew nothing when the French and English knew all.

When accused of lying and of getting his trip due to his wife, Wilson and Plame told the media a series of lies. Today every major Democrat is repeating those factually refuted lies with the assistance of the psychotic media that actually believes that Wilson discredited the president's speech. I personally saw a couple left of center talking heads today get angry when their assertion that Bush lied was challenged by the facts. Hysteria or psychosis? You decide.

How does the "Scooter" fit into this? He was responsible for getting the facts out. And one of the facts was an answer to every reporter's curiosity why a guy like Wilson was sent? And the answer is: Because his wife got him the trip! Now "Scooter" didn't leak that, it was Secretary Powell's partner Armatadge who was anti-war but still felt it was reasonable to expose Wilson and his wife.

Progressive Values!

Progressive values are on display daily, yet the liberal media selects to snooze past most of this radical hate speech. A great comparison is on display today. The "Media" is buzzing about Ann Coulter's colorful description of Edwards along with a satirical comment about liberal values when she said that she could describe Edwards but is afraid of being sent to rehab for saying "Fagot." We all know that the "F" word is considered much worse by the loony left, than even the "N" word. Both letters are owned by the radical-left political correctness squad. So Coulter, more a comedian in the line of Bill Maher, John Kerry, and others, than a political figure is the top of the news. Even Hillarybob and Barrack Osama and the alphabet media are screeching.

It gets better. A liberal blog writes in the same week that it's a disappointment that Vice President Chaney survived a bombing in Pakistan on a visit. So not to be outdone, Maher discusses this opinion with the House's self-labeling "F" man, Rep. Barney Frank. While Frank showed some sensitivity, Maher grabs the baton by saying that: "It's a fact that if Chaney were (dead) no long in power, lives would be saved." Maher is unapologetic about his Jihad death sentence for Chaney. That's OK some say because after all he is a comedian.

So a reasonable person might ask why Maher's belief is not hate speech? He is telling his audience that he feels that a dead vice president is better than a live one. Ann Coulter on the other hand is making fun of Edwards by referencing his "pretty boy" looks and often effeminate behavior. She doesn't attack his fake populist positions. Edwards in an easy poster-boy for owner-oppressor because he paid his workers in his law firm $20 bucks an hour or so while he pocketed as much as $10,000 an hour for himself. That's 500 times the pay of his workers.

Yet, the progressive-value-media finds Coulter in violation of hate speech while disregarding Maher. A reasonable person would say they are protecting Edwards, one of their own, while they hate Coulter, the enemy. It's no wonder that these same values are the foundation for the left's often confused despot and tyrant hugging. These values say that Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's despot socialist and North Korea's mass murder Kim Jung Ill are being bullied by President Bush who they say is the problem. As long as values and morals and ethics are defined politically, the radical left will continue to embrace international criminals in their effort to punish their political enemies. These psychos need more meds before they can rise to adult policy making.
